At Fusion Cre8tive I Karin Duarte a full time artist offer stimulating and engaging kids art parties as well as kids drawing classes and a kids school holiday program.
The kid's art parties are not only fun but also educational, partygoers will learn a series of steps and principles that will allow them to grow as young artists/creators, harnessing their fine and gross motor skills, while improving concentration, and developing their creativity, imagination and social skills.
We strive to create a generation of cre8tive thinkers, so why not encourage your children to develop their own art skills while having fun with friends and family.
Art Party Package.
The kids art parties are super fun as your child gets to choose a themed canvas from a wide selection to create with their friends on their special day!
This is a birthday package with a maximum of nine party goers including the birthday boy/girl.
The package includes a party pack with sweets and a juice box for each party goer.
In the studio we have a small fridge, kettle and an air fryer that you are welcome to use. We also supply cups, plates and cutlery for use on your special day. You are welcome to bring in the birthday cake.
With our private art parties, your little guests will have fun creating a masterpiece that they will be thrilled to take home at the end of the party. Parties are hosted by Karin Duarte who is passionate about art and loves working with kids.

Eight Weeks Drawing Program during the school term
Ignite your child's creativity in this stimulating and engaging drawing course for kids from 7+ years of age!
The course is designed for all levels of kids from beginners to advanced from the age of seven wanting to learn or improve the fundamental techniques of figure, nature and object drawing.
This includes step-by-step drawing of illustrations to build up confidence in their drawing skills. Each session in this course will be about cultivating skills, as well as exploring materials such as graphite, chalks, pastels, inks and watercolour on paper. At the end of the term students will be painting on canvas with acrylic paint.
Kids will learn a series of steps and principles that will allow them to grow as young artists harnessing their fine and gross motor skills while improving concentration and developing their creativity, imagination and social skills.

The class size has a maximum of 9 Students.

All drawing materials supplied for use in class.

Bookings are available on a Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday from 4pm till 6pm.

Also on a Saturday from 9am till 11am.

An A4 plastic folder will be supplied at the beginning of each new term.

Total cost of $240 for the full eight weeks including materials for each class.

Parents please note that students who disrupt the teaching of the class will be asked to leave.

This course will be hosted by artist Karin Duarte who hopes to pass on her knowledge and enthusiasm to encourage each student to be creative always.
School Holiday Program
Painting on canvas: This painting and art class is the perfect colourful escape and kids will learn some great new techniques and artistic skills while enjoying their hiatus from the classroom.
Kiddies will be guided step-by-step through the painting process, ensuring they learn lots of new skills and finish up with an artwork they’ll be proud to hang up on the wall.

We will be working with acrylic paint on canvas with the use of posca markers for detail.
Class runs for two hours.
From the ages of 5+
Cost of $45 per patron.
School Holiday Paint Your Pet: In this step-by-step paint your pet class, you'll discover the joy of capturing your furry best friend on canvas. You'll be guided through the process of creating a beautiful portrait of your pet using acrylic paints, and posca paint markers.

Please supply a photo of your pet prior to class so that it will be ready in an A3 format ready to draw.
Kids will learn how to paint the unique features of your pet, including the eyes, nose, and fur.
You'll also learn various painting techniques to bring your artwork to life, such as blending and shading. -
With this three-hour workshop, you will have plenty of time to complete your masterpiece and take home a one-of-a-kind painting of your beloved pet at a cost of $55 per person.

From the ages of 8+
School Holiday Drawing Class: In this class you will learn a series of steps and principles on the fundamentals of drawing using a medium of choice such as graphite, charcoal or ink pens.

On the day you will get a selection of images to choose from.
We will be working in an A4 format.
Learning how to use the grid method, working with shapes and comparative measuring. -

My Story
Karin Duarte
South Africa is a country where livelihood largely depends on what you do with your hands so the craft has become an enormous and fast-growing industry.
I grew up cultivating this passion and when I moved to Perth I expected to pursue my dream of opening a craft workshop with ease. The beauty and skill of craftsmanship are inspiring, but the task of pursuing this in Perth has proved long and hard.
But here I am! From drawing to pastels, acrylic and oil painting, fabric painting, mosaic, murals, candle making and scrapbooking. I have tried it all. My dream of opening Fusion Cre8tive has finally become a reality and I hope to share my passion with many.
My workshop specialises in kids drawing classes, kids art parties and a kids school holiday program.
