Karin is a full-time artist with a passion for drawing and painting in every medium.
Deeply inspired by nature and childhood art projects in South Africa, she brings a wealth of technical skill and art knowledge to every class, while keeping it fun and engaging for all ages and levels.
Karin is dedicated to helping every student find their own unique style and creative thinking.

My granddaughter attended the drawing class during school holidays. She was so proud of her drawing which she spent two hours on at the class and then another 2 hours completing it at home.
She said that Karin taught her about values, which pencils to use, how to use the pliable eraser as well as the blending tool.
My GD loved her experience.

Great lesson for kids and adults. I joined in with my daughter and her friends. Everyone got to choose the art they wanted to work on and we were all guided to our ability, bringing out our own creativity.
I really appreciated learning the techniques and developing g new skills. It's not about copying someone else's art, but rather learning how to make your own creations.

This was the second time my daughter (6years) attended the art course and she absolutely loves it! She took part in both the drawing class and the canvas painting session, and thoroughly enjoyed each one. It’s such a joy to see her come home excited and proud of what she’s created. My daughter and her friend loved the Pet Painting holiday class with Karin. The studio is lovely, the class was so well prepared for with photos of their pets ready above their easel, lovely materials, and Karin must have had fantastic teaching for them as all the kids art was just sensational!
